The struggle in life is real
What are you to do about it

Breathe

In youth
You are carefree

In the middle years
You are focused on creating security

In the later years
You are worried about what is next

How are you supposed to live
When you are worried all the time

Even in youth
You may not be carefree

If your environment does not support it
If your foundation is none at all

So then
You live worried

Your entire life
Carrying stress like it is your best friend

You have glimpses are inner peace
But you do not feel that you are friends

You lived your entire life in stress
How can peace be for you

You reject it
Even though you long for it

It is an addiction
In the way the mind chooses for you

You do not choose it
But you go along with it

But if you live like this
One day you will feel hopeless

And you should
Any life would

Being stressed every day is very tiring
It pushes you to your extreme

In youth
You can turn running into play

In the middle years
You can justify working too much

But in the later years
You begin to fear stress

If all you have is stress
What is the point of living

This is very dangerous
This is also very common

Your Truth is always there
It is the longing in your heart

The first thing you must do
Is do anything that silences your mind

Breathe
Begin with conscious breathing

You must consciously breathe

When you are stressed
Your breathing changes

Some breathe short and quickly
Others stop breathing almost completely

Both forms of irregular breathing
Cause a stress response in the body

Living with the sympathetic nervous system turned on
Is an addiction

You can overcome it
You can live free from it

It is challenging
It is rewarding too

Breathe consciously
Give yourself anything you need to remember to breathe

If you are focused on your breath
You can achieve anything in your day

Because your mind is shifted from being stuck

Stuck in the routine of stress
Moved away from its addiction to stress
