The World Needs Patience

Where would you be
If you were never spoken to with patience

What does impatience do
It creates mistrust and hostility

The more you are patient
The more someone can be themselves

The more they are themselves
The more they live in reality

Once someone creates a false reality
It is very difficult to be patient with them

This is the difficulty
This is the true test

The mind
Creates alternate realities

The mind does this
To keep you safe from harm

Is this always advantageous to the person
No, of course not

A simple temporary non-reality
Can help you get through a difficult moment

If
It is only temporary

If you begin to practice the non-reality
Then it begins to take hold

A temporary fix
Becomes a permanent change in you

Permanent
But also something that can be changed too

You live your false reality
As your truth

You are so lost in your own lies
You start to forget who you are

You live with a practiced voice
You live with a practiced walk

Others may fear you
Because you are not true to yourself

Others may look up to you
But it is something that cannot maintain itself

Actors practice
For a pretend story

Lawyers practice
To prepare to persuade others

Government officials practice
To convince others to join

Where is your mind
What do you believe in

Do you believe
In the simple truths in life

Or are you entertained
By the false identities of others and yourself

In an age
Where everything can be seen by all instantly

There are more false identities
Then ever before

Why does the mind seek poor impulse and control
Over stability and building communities

Why does the mind seek mindless entertainment
Over learning and exploring

Your mind
Is controlled by you

If you choose to command
Your mind

Your life is lived as your Truth
If you choose to be your Truth
