The Spice of Life is the Infinite Possibilities

What is now
Should be the focus

Not what needs to get done
Eleven minutes from now

When you cage an animal
They sit and wait

Waiting for someone
To give them food

Waiting for someone
To give them water

When you are a life
That cannot give yourself water

You live in a very stressful state
You live defending your life

The body is not relaxed
The life is filled with continuous attention

Attention to your surroundings
All of your attention spent seeking water

Now there may be a bond
Between that caged animal and the human

But every step the human takes
Is thoroughly watched

Every word the human speaks
Is thoroughly listened to

You may think
The animal has become your friend

But in reality
You are only its food and water source

You have trapped it
A house is a cage

It does what keeps your voice
Happy sounding

It does what keeps your actions
Gentle towards it

If you open the door
Will it stay

If you open the door
Will it come back

The animal does not want to live in a cage
Yet we trick our minds into believing it does

The student
Is not the pet of the Teacher

The Teacher
Is not the pet of the student

This can happen
Yet it should be avoided

Neutrality
Is a strict discipline

Life
Is a series of ups and downs

This is the gift of life
This is the spice of life

Every day
Is different

Every breath
Is different

Never long for that perfect thing you had before
Focus on the current experience

Neutrality
Silences your mind

Neutrality
Stops the mind from comparing the present to the past

The student
Longs to be the Teacher

The student
Longs to achieve the “greatness” of the Teacher

This is not possible
Because the true Teacher is neutral

There is nothing great about the Teacher
There is nothing terrible about the Teacher

The Teacher
Is simply a vessel

A vessel that the One flows through
A human body that can remain neutral

The teacher that longs for students
Is not a Teacher that lives in neutrality

The teacher that focuses on advertising
Is the teacher that lives in the mind

You cannot be another teacher
Because everyone is different

You cannot be another student
Because every experience is different

You are not less
Because you are equal

You are not better
Because you are equal

The One
Has infinite forms

The One
Has infinite sounds

The One
Is all equally

You cannot make yourself perfect for someone
Because your unique self is perfect

Neutrality
Will create self-respect

Acceptance of all life
Creates equality

True equality
Is neutrality

Acceptance
Includes accepting yourself

Open the door to your cage
See where you will go
