Resilience Requires Commitment

What gives you the right
To blame someone else

For your words
For your actions

The most difficult action
Is to walk away

The most difficult word
Is to remain silent

When another person attacks you verbally
Remain neutral and walk away

When another person tests your humility
Remain neutral and speak softly

Do not raise your voice to be heard
Remain silent and remain graceful

Your grace
Is led by your words and actions

When another person makes you fall
Is when you judge yourself

You blame yourself
You use these experiences to run away

Your Truth
Is not your reaction to others

Your Truth
Is when you are at peace

Why does the other person seek your reaction
Their mind is greatly disturbed

It is not your doing
It is not your fault

If you react
Then you can blame yourself

Commit to remaining graceful
Commit to not reacting

There are two types of reaction
Inner and outer

When you outwardly react
Your words and actions are out of control

When you inwardly react
Is even worse

You trigger something
That lasts for hours

You think about what happened
You don’t even know you are in the past

You give all your attention
To your inward reaction

Your unspoken words
Are screaming inside

You hate them
You hate yourself

You beg for change
You beg for anything

Why be a beggar
When you can be your graceful self

You use your inward reactions
To reward yourself with superficial things

Temporary distractions
That gives you more regret

Your inward reactions continue
On and on throughout the day

One small moment in the morning
Had you reacting all day

You glare at life
You have the weight of it on your shoulders

Nothing you see
Changes your reaction’s opinion

You hate what you hate
You hate yourself and your life

You hate the person that made you react
While they laugh at you for being mad

They have nothing to do with your reactions
Because they are not your Mind

Your Mind
Makes you react

Your Mind
Makes you continue to react

Your Mind
Is in control

Your Mind
Wastes all your time

Sit and make it sit more
Sit until your Mind screams and continue to sit

Sit with your breath
Sit with your Soul

Sit and consciously breathe
Until you are no longer reacting

The cycles will not change
Until you change

Each person
Creates their own cycles

Each person
Creates their own life

Another person
May show you their Mind

But it is you
Who shows them your Mind

You are in charge of your life
Choose your vibration
