Choose What You Give - The Night's Light

What you give
Is what another may only be taking

Just because you give
Did they receive or did they take

Did they cry for money
But then run to spend money foolishly

Are you struggling for money
But then run to give money away

Stop giving mindlessly
Predators sense the inability to choose

Give consciously
Choose what you are giving

Humans are mammals
Mammals that prey on others are predators

Some humans are predators
They live to take from others

When they find someone that gives mindlessly
They run to take

There is nothing but taking
When you give mindlessly

If you decide to give to someone
You should be evaluating the situation first

You cannot get angry
The person took what you gave

No one made you give anything
You chose to give

If what you are realizing
Is that you have only lived to work for others

Now is the time
To rejoice at that realization

Rejoice
Feel free for the first time in life

Live your life to give to you
Only give to others consciously

If someone asks you for money
Tell them to show you their bank account first

See what they say
If they get angry let them walk away

If they stop talking to you
Why care at all

If they have money
They were trying to steal yours

Steal not take
That is a predator stopped in its tracks

Their hunting attempt failed
Rejoice that you won the game

They are playing games
You are not

But you must play back
You must protect yourself

Do not give
Unless you are consciously giving

Give food to the person living on the street
Do not give the drug addict money to buy drugs

Do not buy the millionare lunch
Do not buy the predator lunch

Do not give money away
Do not give money to anyone that does not need it

Do not expect to receive money
Do not give money away

If you grew up in poverty
You learned to work to help your family in need

Now you must see the situation as what it is
They are no longer in need

Both of you
Are in the same routine

You give
They take

It has always been like that
It will stay that way until you change

Do not attend the predators meeting
Unless you are ready for the game

If you want others to ask you for money
Be prepared to say no politely

If you want to dwell in your spiritual practice
Dwell in it with others like you

If you do not find others like you
Walk away

You are not here to give mindlessly
You are here to walk with others equally

Equally
Neutrally

Serve yourself your greatest gift
Give yourself your love
